Digital service designer

The role of Digital Service Designer in doDigital requires analytical thinking and excellent knowledge and design skills of services and ecosystems, using methodologies specific to Human-Centered Design, in the context of reengineering and transformation projects of business services and business processes.
The position also requires to carry out analysis activities in relation to technological innovation and business model trends in different sectors to guide the service’s innovation path from strategic design to the design of the retail customer experience.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Design, Economics and/or Management, Marketing, Design, or Management Engineering, with a strong ability to structure analysis and business cases combined with a knowledge of the basic elements of a Digital System.
You also need a good understanding of the MS Office package, especially MS Excel and MS Power Point.

The selected figure will be involved in the following activities:
• Design and perform user research activities to identify users’ needs and validate solutions, carry out market research, surveys and interviews (e.g. focus groups, one-to-one interviews, etc.)
• Understand business and customer needs and requirements, translate business information and data into insights useful for defining the best solutions with a clear strategic vision.
• Plan the service design activities of the project in all its phases ensuring compliance with the processing times and deadlines shared with the team.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in technology and digital trends.
• Conceptualize relevant service maps and detail the innovation proposals of the service itself by identifying business processes and data flows impacted by evolution.
• Design and actively participate in the moderation of workshops with customers for the generation of ideas and for the co-design of target services.
• Ability to use Service Design and Design Thinking tools and facilitation techniques during collaborative workshops.
• Identify tools, resources, methodologies, and techniques to evolve existing approaches.
